As many of you are aware, plans to provide the Aldergrove community with a new recreation centre and indoor pool in Aldergrove are being considered and the Township of Langley wants residents to have their say.

 

The second of two open houses will be taking place tomorrow evening in the ACSS Library from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

 

OUR community is highly encourage to stop by and give feedback on the two options available as well as feedback on details around those options that are important to the community.

 

Please note that the Open House format is such that you can come by anytime between 7 and 9pm and stay for as long or as little as you like. Give us your feedback and be on your way!

Share this posting & GET INVOLVED in Fraser Hwy. Bus Route Changes! Translink wants to change Fraser Highway Translink Bus route #502 in 2013. The TRANSLINK Open House is on Dec 4th 5pm to 7:30PM at Aldergove Sec. School small gym ( http://bit.ly/QxvpIV ) They want these changes ( http://bit.ly/Qxvv36 ) for what they label as Service Optimization ( http://bit.ly/QxvBI3 ) . They also have an online questionnaire for you to fill out.

In a nutshell they want to eliminate the Salmon River Uplands 502 route completely and create a second Fraser Hwy route called 503 which has reduced stops between Surrey Central Skytrain & Langley City and still provide full stops between Langley City & Aldergrove. Initial Concerns are deleting Salmon Rver Route (impacts students, youth & elderly) and they also say service to Aldergrove is until midnight, but in reality there seems to be no change and the last bus to Aldergrove every night seems to remain as the existing 10 pm bus from Surrey Central Skytrain. My sons both say the last Aldergrove bus should leave at least at midnight instead from Surrey Skytrain. What do you think?
